Maine Children's Cancer Walk: September 15th 9:00am in Back Bay- Portland. (ending @Payson Park) http://www.mmc.org/mmc_body.cfm?id=2386 GYSA is supporter of this walk for a very personal reason. Lauren Hawkes, a GYSA Alum, lost her battle with cancer at age 13. Her brother Adam, played GYSA for 5 years. We walk as a club to remember Lauren and to support the efforts of all the kids battling cancer. This is great team event. Take the time to come walk with the club and be part of Lauren's Team.
