• Maine based soccer club founded in 1995 supporting opportunities for players 9U-14U age groups.

  • GYSA offers teams in the town team club programs with Soccer Maine for both the Fall Classic and Pine Tree League.

    FALL CLASSIC PROGRAM

    Each player that participates on a team will have the following opportunities:

    1. Season Starts in August – October (playoffs into November)

    2. 2 Practices / week – Held at one of our Gorham Facilities (Little Falls Rec area & Multipurpose Fields @ Middle School)

    3. 6 League games & 4 Friendlies (scheduled by coaches)

    4. Mid Season Tournament 

      • 2nd Week of October

    5. End of Season Round robins for U9-U11 & U12-U14 will participate in playoff for competitive levels. 

    6. Ball Girls and Ball Boys at Gorham Varsity Home Games

    Each player receives a uniform (kit) in their first year

    PINE TREE LEAGUE (SPRING SOCCER)

    The Pine Tree League’s purpose is to provide an opportunity for classic club teams to participate in an organized outdoor league during the spring season. The Pine Tree League follows the same age guidelines as the Fall Classic League.

    1. Season starts end of April – 1st week of June

    2. 6 league games played on Sundays

    3. Reuse Uniforms from Fall to reduce cost

    Target 1 practice a week

  • U14: Birthdate between August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2013

    U13: Birthdate between August 1, 2013 - July 31, 2014

    U12: Birthdate between August 1, 2014 - July 31, 2015

    U11: Birthdate between August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016

    U10: Birthdate between August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2017

    U09: Birthdate between August 1, 2017 - July 31, 2018

  • What to Expect & Important Reminders:

    • Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in.

    • New players will have the opportunity to confirm and validate uniform sizing during check-in.

    • A signed waiver for the Gorham Sports Center is required.

    • Players should come prepared with:

      • Cleats or turf shoes or Sneakers

      • Shin guards

      • Water bottle

    Assessments allow our coaches and coordinators to evaluate player skills and place athletes in environments where they can grow, compete, and enjoy the game. Your participation and timeliness help make this process smooth and successful for everyone. Assessments are required for U13 & U14 age groups where we can have A/B team scenarios.

  • We understand that plans can change. To help us finalize team rosters & teams, we've established the following refund schedule:

    • Withdrawals before June 20, 2026: Full refund of registration fee
    • Withdrawals between June 20 - July 12, 2026: 50% refund of registration fee
    • Withdrawals after July 12, 2026: No refund available
